Based in Mississauga, Ontario, and also covering the Halton and GTA areas, Beyond the Skin is a beauty business that offers makeup services for weddings and special events. Creator and lead Makeup Artist, Melissa Ammendolea, has nearly 10 years of experience as a professional makeup artist and was formerly a Makeup instructor at the International Beauty Institute in Hamilton, Ontario.
Melissa strives to help each client feel confident and empowered in their own skin. Our goal at Beyond the Skin is to make every bride and client feel pampered, beautiful and stress-free.

No Hidden Fees
Once you have signed the contract and sent the retainer to reserve your date, your pricing is locked in. We will not add any extra surprise charges.

SERVICES
BRIDAL MAKEUP TRIALS
It is recommended to have a makeup trial 1-3 months prior to the wedding day. This allows the bride and Makeup artist to discuss the bride's vision and bring it to life
WEDDING MAKEUP
All weddings are serviced on site of the Bride's desired location.
There is a minimum of 4 people for mobile services during peak wedding season. All wedding makeup services includes a pair of false lashes for the Bride and Bridal party.
A signed contract is required to reserve all wedding bookings along with a retainer. The retainer will be established based on the total amount for Bridal makeup plus travel fee. The deposit will be deducted from the remaining balance owed on the wedding day. The deposit is non refundable nor transferable.
SPECIAL EVENT/ PHOTOSHOOT MAKEUP
Special event, engagement shoot and party makeup services can be provided on site or in studio. Each makeup application includes a pair of false lashes to complete the look. A $20 non-refundable deposit is required for booking a makeup service appointment

All hair services are provided by professional Hair Stylist Brittany Silla. Brittany has 10+ years of experience in the industry and provides cuts, colour, styling and up dos for weddings.
